Support Your Local Author

Check out my line of Southern Gothic apparel. Each item includes the Southern Gothic logo and a humorous quote from The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (God bless the public domain). Fun for the entire literary family.

The one dollar I make from each shirt goes to pay the authors published at Southern Gothic.

The chapbook and the clothing are available at: http://www.cafepress.com/wordarts

Serenity Now!

Two things that drive me absolutely nuts:

1) Blog posts that post, but don't post. It is both there, and not there. A blog post caught in a horrible transporter malfunction, and no way to reverse the polarity.

2) People unable to chew gum with thier mouths closed. Especially those who close proximity is inescapable, like travel companions, or cube-mates at work. I'm sure your gum is delicious, but I don't want to share it.

Christmas Comes a Little Early

Today the new issue of Nature is out.

That would be the issue in which the last story in their "Futures" sci-fi series is published.

That would be a story called "Hot Dogs at the End of the World."

That would be a story written by your humble servant. Enjoy with your favorite condiments.

Southern Gothic

Here is the new Southern Gothic chapbook. Inside are stories by Corey Mesler, Louis E. Bourgeois, Joanne Merriam, Paul Kavanagh, J.T. Barbarese, and Mark MacNamara.

Proceeds from the sale of this book go to help pay authors published at Southern Gothic Online. Starting in January, SGO becomes a paying market for fiction.

Order the book from Cafe Press by clicking this link. Six stories of the best Southern Gothic fiction around.

Google Bombing Myself

For all you people out there looking for nude pictures or nipple shots of Britney Spears, Shakira, Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan, and Jessica Simpson, I say welcome. Put your pecker in your pants, turn off the WWE, and read a book. One of my books, for example.
